Mutual fund SIP · step-up · goal planner
SIP Calculator
See what a monthly SIP can grow into, with a yearly step-up and an optional lump sum. Or set a goal, like ₹1 crore, and find the SIP that gets you there.
How this works
- Each instalment is invested at the start of the month and grows at the monthly rate (yearly return ÷ 12), the method most Indian fund houses and apps use. A lump sum grows at the yearly return, compounded once a year.
- Step-up raises your monthly SIP once a year by the percentage you choose.
- Today's money divides the final amount by inflation over the period, so you can see what it would buy now.
- Tax: gains on equity funds held over a year are taxed at 12.5% above ₹1.25 lakh a year, if you sell everything in one year. Debt funds are taxed at your slab rate.
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Returns are not guaranteed; past returns don't predict future ones. This is an illustration, not investment advice.
